(Anyway the story is based around a mechanic named Anima who more than anything in the world, wants to explore new planets, learn new cultures, invent things!
Be more than just a mechanic that fixes shit for a cause she doesn't support!

Some time after officially resigning from the Empire™ Anima finds a crashed fighter ship
from 'the great war' that happened before she was born.
After months of digging to get the cockpit free from the ground she can fully examine it and determine what it needs to get running again.
Since it's military grade ship she can't exactly buy the parts she needs to fix it, not to mention a pilot to fly the damn thing.
Lucky for her- (all though she didn't think that at the time) a thief named Edin stumbles upon her crash site- in military grade handcuffs. Which can only mean one thing.
Edin was not only able to escape fort Hollis undetected but also alive. IN FUCKING HANDCUFFS. That means she could also break in undetected, right?
And she's a thief so she could even steal the parts needed to fix this ship, to get off this shithole of a planet!
Edin's not one to simply agree to such terms but she's desperate. She just lost her own ship to these scumbags. She wants revenge.

Anima needs equipment and a skilled pilot.
Edin wants to give this military pricks a very bad time.
They both want off this fucking planet as soon as possible.
Do to having somewhat similar motives they both agree to work together and the plot unfolds.)

(Since Anima lived on Hollis for 22 years of her life she has been able to build an "accurate" map from memory.
She gives Edin a description of what she needs an where it can be located, a general floor plan and even some guards' common foot routes.)

(THIS IS EVERYTHING I'VE WRITTEN DOWN ABOUT EDIN.

Edin is physically disabled, she's also addicted to a specific drug that manages this {I want this to be canon tho}
Internal, affects her breathing/heart rate. She has a electronic device implanted onto her body{Kinda like a pacemaker, but it's not completely beneath the skin, it has an interface} It displays her oxygen level, blood pressure, heart rate etc.
{as for where it's located on her body I'm speculating neck, middle of chest, upper left side of chest below collarbone or one of her wrists.
I haven't decided what place works best.}

Cause - SURVIVOR OF THE GREAT GASSING OF 3081
Empire Dickbutt wanted to test their new war toy, dropped a large pod onto the 'old' capital of Edin's planet, the most populated at the time.
devastatingly toxic gas with a biotic virus inside that enters the body through the lungs, rotting the tissue inside,
slowly causing lung failure and suffocating the infected over time. Some of the infected began showing symptoms early on,
others lasted with maybe a week or more with no signs of infection. They found the closer you were to the drop site, the faster it travels through your body.

They soon developed a heavily addictive drug to combat this, but for some that wasn't enough.
Some had too much physical damage done. To save these few they implanted an experimental device that assists the damaged lungs.
They still haven't found how to completely remove the virus, but with the help of the drug it can be managed well enough. Many died in the testing.

Edin would tell Anima stories about how a few years after the attack she'd go back to her old home, sporting a gas mask,
and scavenge for anything she could find. She was only 10 when it happened.

Its been 17 years and the air is still toxic in that part of her home planet. that specific part looks like a hazardous wasteland.
She was living with her step brother who was about 20 at the time.
He was one of the first to die.
When Edin turned 15 she'd gear up and head to her old home searching for any of his belongings.  Anything to remember him by.
The necklace she never takes off.

-RANDOM FACTS-
She was kidnapped and made a trafficking slave when she was 16.
She escaped when she was 19.
When she was 20, she was a part of a gang of space pirates who hitchhiked on large merchant ships and raided them.
Between the ages of 22-26 she made a name for herself as more than a "ghost" thief, but also as an assassin.
She'd kill a man for money. She had to.


Just before she turned 26 she finally acquired a nice, fast, ship of her own, leaving her pirate gang soon after.
She felt they were slowing her down, she was tired of raiding petty farmers.

Soon after disbanding from the pirates she started looting weapons convoys for expensive tech to sell on the black market.
More risk, more thrill, more reward.)
