(It's one of the DLCs we're working on and they don't let you take companions with you. ;-; This one is really weird though, lol. You find like, an older model of ED-E I guess you could say.)

(Yes, they do!

My people who live largely in the forests tend to have light skin to only slightly tan colored skin.  They're in the shade all the time and it caused them to need only a little protection from the sun.  They're also the ones with the lighter eye colors like the blues and greens.

Those who live put on the plains are very tanned and tend towards the brown eye colors.   There are patches of trees of course, but the majority of it is fairly barren and its advantageous to have darker skin tones and eyes to protect from the sun.

The people who live in the mountains tend to have somewhere between a yellow and olive completions.  Sun reflecting off snow can really burn you, but it it's still a relatively low light area of their geography with clouds a lot, but they're also higher in altitude.  Their eyes tend towards the darker blues and even lighter browns.

Living in the tropics, you'll find the people with the darkest completions and darker eye colors as it's always very sunny and very hot.  They'll tend to be a light brown in color and have brown eyes.

The people who live the farthest north are extremely pale and seem to just be lacking in any sort of pigmentation. Since it's constantly snowing there, there isn't much in the way of light. They also tend to have the lightest eye colors.

Well, the majority of my people you see are the light skinned, kind of slender, tree living people, because that's the majority of the population.  But then, you get farther north, where there's less vegetation and it's colder. People are going to be bulkier.
So, it's safe to assume, that Fade's family originated from farther north and it makes him an outlier. xD)

Being short would be more advantageous in a cold climate though, but as whomever migrated south other genetics would help to lead to taller, but still genetically bulky people.

Like, it's safe to say Mal has a recessive gene for hair.  It wouldn't be very helpful to have that hair where the sun always shines, because your scalp and face would burn more easily.
